A unique feature of Storybook Academy is the presence and active participation of our ONSITE REGISTERED NURSE. Our nurse leads our health and safety efforts, including:
- monitoring food allergies and dietary restrictions
- monitoring any ongoing health conditions
- administering medication when required (strictly per licensing guidelines)
- administering first aid if needed
- managing incident reports
- conducting classroom health lessons for children
- managing immunization records
- monitoring of exclusion guidelines
- timely communication regarding sudden illnesses
