A unique feature of Storybook Academy is the presence and active participation of our ONSITE REGISTERED NURSE. Our nurse leads our health and safety efforts, including:

  • monitoring food allergies and dietary restrictions
  • monitoring any ongoing health conditions
  • administering medication when required (strictly per licensing guidelines)
  • administering first aid if needed
  • managing incident reports
  • conducting classroom health lessons for children
  • managing immunization records
  • monitoring of exclusion guidelines
  • timely communication regarding sudden illnesses
  • guidance and potential action steps for illness or injury
